What did I just say, American Idol?

I know I wrote in easy to understand sentences in my last blog entry. I clearly said I was upset that "American Idol" had forced Sanjaya Malakar to be one of the last two standing for two weeks in a row. I also mentioned we completely understood that AI doesn't like Sanjaya.

So what happens? AI totally ignores me and makes Sanjaya one of the last two standing for the third week in a row. And they did it twice in the same night. He was part of the last two to find out who was in the Bottom 3, followed by part of the last two to find out who was going home.

Thankfully, Brandon Rogers went home.

You're not subtle, "American Idol." We can clearly see the sign you keep hanging over Sanjaya's head that says "we want him gone." How about trying a new sign that says "we're not going to sway this one way or the other."

Yeah. Like that will ever happen.

AI, if you need me to further explain this to you, let me know. I'll be happy to point a few signs in your direction that I'm sure will help you to understand.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go stew in my own juices for a while.

Alan, Alan, AI only does what America tells it to do. They know Sanjaya is a point of interest whether you love him or hate him. They simply comply. They make everyone hang on to the last possible moment to hear about him cuz they know you will stay tuned, dig? America put Sanjaya in the bottom two, not AI. Blame your fellow American's for losing love for Sanjaya.

Alan, I understand your frustration and I sympathize with you....cough cough...but can I just say this...Sanjaya was in the bottom 2 last night because he quite obviously got the 2nd least amount of votes. That's not AI doing that - that would have been the American public that caused that to happen. I hope he is able to pull up his socks next week - I do agree that he can sing and has potential to go a few more rounds before being outted. Until next week - take a deep breathe and count to ten a few times. :-)

Alan you have to calm down. Eveyone that I speak with thinks that he should have been gone by now. I know that is not your oppinion but it seems that most of America does not agree with you.

Alan, Sanjaya will make it to the top 10, I think, because he does have a large fan base, and when he does, he'll go on tour, but after that I think he'll be gone.C'mon Alan!! Contestants like Melinda, and Laquisha just blow his hair wayyy back !

Personally I don't think Sanjaya should be in the top anything, at this point. I really hated to see Brandon go so soon. Sanjaya has his fan base and not to mention that stupid website that's pushing him, but Brandon is the better singer and performer, IMHO. (He's not the natural Taylor is, but he could learn!).

Alan, you may just be right about AI making Sanjia stand up there with the bottom 3 for two weeks in a row. However, I think it needs to pick up the pace, and put some umph in his performances. I really do like him, but, like so many of the guys this season, they are BORINGGGGGGG. The ladies are really bringing it this season.
