I saw on Taylors ning site that Sue was attending so I was sure you would be there!!
So I guess I need to say Taylors coming to KC to sing for me, Gwen, Sue and Raylindy and Denv (from the boogie). I can't wait!!! I'm going solo to this one...unless Sherry is able to make it!!

Have any of you all heard of or are aware of Taylor's concert appearances scheduled for January on the MSC cruise line?

I am so excited to be able to see Taylor on a cruise.  The name of the even is called JamCruise or Jam Cruise (not sure if they use one word or two).  I listened to several of the other artists on the lineup and I was extremely impressed.  The pictures of the event look so much fun too! 

I have been a lurker to the site for sometime now, but this whole cruise thing in January got me excited enough to finally join the board.   

I think we need to get a big group of Taylor fans and show these Jam Cruise people how to really have a good time!

I'd love to go on this cruise (went on a cruise a year and half ago and loved it). But it's not a great time of year for me. For people that live close to the coast and can get to ports cheaper, I'd say go for it!!

I agree.  I can't think of a much better venue to enjoy a Taylor concert then with a fruity mixed drink, in my bathing suit, barefooted, and lounging beside the pool - all while Taylor plays that sweet, sweet blues into my ears.

I bet there will be some awesome sit-ins by Taylor with some of those musicians on the lineup.  There looks like there is a lot of funk bands (I even noticed Fred Wesley from the old James Brown band, the JBs!), so I bet Taylor's harmonica will be called into action frequently!

Herniated disc in my back. No road trip to see Taylor while he is in California & Laughlin the next couple of weeks.

Well, thank goodness for sites like this and fantourage.  YOu can see more live clips of the MAster than anywhere.  I am almost ALMOST sorry I went to see him for my first time in Chicago.  I am suffering badly from the Taylor Woo let down they talk about.  I can only imagine if I had plans on going again and got hurt or sick and could not go.  He is bigger to me than ELVIS ever was or the Beatles!  Go SP!!!

As you now know though, as amazing as he is on video - there is a magic to his live performance and being present for that which is beyond words.

MY lips never touched his skin.  I was either brave or really really clueless to have asked for a kiss on the cheek.  Didn't have the nerve to even say it to Taylor who was busy with something.  I am so happy that they let me have a last minute M&G.  There was no time to be nervous or to think about what I should do.  Don't think I would have been able to do it otherwise.  I am sooo happy for anyone who gets to see him live. 

I did tell him that is the one thing I wanted to say to him...that he is the most incredible performer I have ever seen.  I am sure he hears this so much that it must sound like a recording.  Not too original but I have always wanted to tell him!
